She did it!

Hey hey, not much going on around here, truth be told. EXCEPT THAT MY BABY TOOK HER FIRST STEPS!!!!!!! And I mean honest to goodness, putting one-foot-in-front-of-the-other REPEATEDLY steps. Okay, okay, I know you're all dying to know how it happened so here goes! We were eating dinner (in the living room, picnic style as usual...lol) last night when B, myself and sis all got up to start cleaning up. Next thing I know, B is jabbing me in the arm whispering "hey! hey...HEY!!!" It was quite annoying, and it's kind of a peeve of mine. I mean just use my name and start talking, no need to get pokey, lol. I was about to whip around and give a nasty "WHAT?!?" when I saw what he was pointing at. The Lil Pooper had stood up in the middle of the room and was toddling after us! She took probably 8-10 steps before sort of biffing it. And true to her own unique style she was even carrying an actual hammer with her (we were trying to put together an entertainment center) that must weigh a quarter of what she does. So picture it with me.... my 32" tall, bleach blonde baby girl in her favorite purple footie jammies, standing up, moving one foot after the other (looking kinda drunk actually!) while so proudly carrying a hammer. LOL! Being a Mom has some awesome moments! Go Lil Pooper GO!
